Liliʻuokalani Center FAQs

Liliʻuokalani Center is an initiative of Liliʻuokalani Trust, a private operating foundation established in 1909 by Queen Liliʻuokalani for the benefit “of orphaned and destitute children within these Hawaiian Islands, with preference given to those of pure or part Aboriginal ancestry.” Our target audience is Native Hawaiian youth ages 12-24 who are, or have been, involved in systems or have experienced challenging life circumstances.

Step 1: Kamaliʻi may express their interest by emailing [email protected] or calling LC at (808) 466-8088.

Step 2: Kamaliʻi will need to complete online registration and consent forms through an online form.

Step 3: The LC engagement team will schedule an in-person meeting/intake with the youth. Due to the volume of submissions, this may take up to 30 days.

Please note that enrollment in LC does not guarantee that you will be offered a space in any particular program or service.

Liliʻuokalani Trust has youth spaces across Hawaiʻi. Contact Liliʻuokalani Trust’s Mālama Line at (808) 466-8080 to get connected to the Liliʻuokalani Trust space closest to you.
