Leaders in the “Making”

This is a space where hands get busy and leadership grows naturally. Kamalei step into a makerspace that values curiosity, responsibility, and learning by doing in a safe and supportive environment.

Leaders in the Making brings kamalei into hands on creation using creative tools while building real leadership skills like facilitation, communication, and teamwork. Youth design and build projects, then turn around and help guide and support their peers in a consistent environment with caring adults and trusted mentors.

You will make projects, work as a team, try new tools, and find your people while taking on real responsibility inside the space.

As kamalei grow, they can step into mentorship and internship roles and even design and lead their own workshop or mentor others on a machine they choose. This is how leadership takes shape.
