ʻAihaʻa (Wāhine)
Class info:
This is a space where movement and mele come together with purpose and care. Kamalei gather in a safe and supportive environment guided by caring adults who honor culture and connection.
ʻAihaʻa centers wāhine ages 12–24 in hula grounded in mele and oli, while welcoming all who seek connection to culture. Kamalei build technique, rhythm, and strength while learning ʻike kūpuna, aloha ʻāina, and the importance of ʻohana through shared practice.
You will move together, chant and sing, deepen language and kaona, and meet new people while growing confidence and leadership alongside others.
Kamalei strengthen resilience, cultural pride, and belonging in a consistent environment where youth grow individually and as a collective.
